About Shaykh Muhammad Nasir
Shaykh Muhammad Nasir (known in Dutch as Mohammed Nassier) is a teacher, speaker, and writer specializing in the Islamic sciences. Of South Asian heritage (Indian/Pakistani), he combines the intellectual clarity of the Ashari and Hanafi traditions with the spiritual depth of classical Sufi scholarship.
Bio
He is currently studying according to the classical Mauritanian method, as taught in the Sous region of southern Morocco and transmitted through the scholars of Damascus. His studies focus on Arabic grammar (nahw), morphology (sarf), rhetoric (balaghah), creed (aqeedah), principles of jurisprudence (usul al-fiqh), Islamic law (fiqh) of the Hanafi and Maliki schools, logic (mantiq), spirituality (tasawwuf), Quranic exegesis (tafsir), Prophetic biography (sirah), hadith methodology (mustalah al-hadith), as well as Quran recitation and tajwid.
Shaykh Muhammad Nasir also holds authorization (ijazah) within the spiritual golden lineage (silsilah) connected to Shaykh Muhammad Adil, Shaykh Nazim al-Haqqani, and Grandshaykh Abdullah al-Faiz ad-Daghistani — a chain tracing back to the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
Under the guidance of Shaykh Muhammad Adil, he leads weekly gatherings inspired by the Naqshbandi tradition of Shaykh Nazim al-Haqqani, where remembrance of God, the pursuit of sacred knowledge, and spiritual refinement form the foundation of his teaching.
